World AIDS Day: Elton John Shares His Foundation’s “Greatest Joy”

Sir Elton John can feel the love—and impact—of his work on many people.

For more than 30 years, the Grammy Award winner has used her voice to make the Elton John AIDS Foundation a powerful force in increasing access to HIV testing, prevention and care.

And before marking World AIDS Day on December 1, Elton argued that much more needs to be done to ensure no one is left behind.

Elton shared with E! News in an exclusive interview. “At the Elton John AIDS Foundation, we are committed to supporting local governments and partners and to major campaigns to bring attention to and end AIDS by 2030.”

According to Elton, there is a need to “normalize the conversation” with family and friends about safe sex practices, what HIV is and how to live a healthy life with it.
