Woman risks her life to save drowning dog
Often a dog’s enthusiasm can be much greater than their ability. Most of the time it means that the jumps are miscalculated and the faces get stuck in too small holes. But facing an aggressive ocean can be a dangerous feat for a small dog. Even a human cannot safely manage the strong waves in a storm.
Anyway, someone did it. In 2017, a woman ran straight into hostile waters to save her confused dog, and the whole thing went downhill. caught on camera. The poor struggling puppy jumped off the Brighton Palace Pier in England and immediately found himself in trouble.
The very strong waves, the first of which completely passed the woman and knocked her down as she ran towards her dog. It pushed both the woman and the dog back a few feet toward the shore. The woman was able to find her footing for a bit, so she stood her ground. The puppy also tries his best to swim towards her.
Eventually, the distance between them became small enough for the woman to reach out and grab the dog. She squeezed it as another big wave knocked them back.
At this point, another person ran to grab the dog and take it out of the ocean. The dog made a rough move, but passed its test.
If that person does not have courage to do what she did, who knows what might have happened to that dog. She must really love her baby!

Is It Safe To Let Your Dog Swim In The Ocean?
It goes without saying that if the Coast Guard or The National Weather Service issued a warning or advise against swimming, including your dog. Most public beaches will have signs. In the case of the video we just watched, the puppy fell from a pedestrian pier.
Many dogs love to swim and it’s good exercise for them, as long as you observe some Important safety measures.
Equip your students with a life jacket
The safest way to keep your dog afloat is to wear a dog life jacket. Floating devices are especially important for breeds like bulldogs and bassets, with larger chests and short forelimbs. They are more difficult to swim and tire faster than Labradors.
Always make sure the vest fits and is sturdy for your dog. New York City dog trainer Denise Mange Note:
“For a dog life jacket to work properly, the right fit is crucial. When choosing a life jacket, you want to find an ergonomic cut that fits your dog’s specific body type. “
A vest or harness with handles makes it easier to pull a dog out of the water, as you just saw above. If you’re going for a walk near fast-moving waters, use a harness for your dog.
Temperature problems
Even if they can’t tell you, dogs can develop hypothermia in freezing water. Watch out for warning signs such as coma or marked shivering. If it’s too cold for you to swim, it’s probably too cold for your dog!
Prevention of ear infections
Dogs with softer ears are especially at risk for have an ear infection. Be sure to clean your dog’s ears after they swim and check for any signs of infection or ear odor. Avoid allowing moisture to accumulate in those areas.
Personally, I would jump into an ocean of fury if it meant helping my dog. I’m willing to bet that many will too.
