I was visiting my cousin in Oregon, and while there, I found a stray kitten. I scoured the neighborhood and local shelters for its owner, but no one claimed it.
A week passed and I decided he was going home to California with me. He is about two or three months old and has been disabled. After examining the veterinarian, it was concluded that he was in very good health. I named him Milo. He is a happy, kind and playful kitten with my two older cats, Tasha and Gracie; They are now 18 and 20 years old.
The story begins when he becomes a teenager. Testosterone flooded his body and he became very aggressive, quite mean actually. I took him to the vet and it was decided to give him Xanax injections to calm him down. Well, it didn’t work and I was at a loss. I had to keep my ex-girls away from him, he would chase them and spank and scratch. I also keep my distance.
Then the miracle happened. I was walking across the living room, the TV was on, and I heard a comment, “If the tissue is not completely removed when disabled, testosterone is present and continues to affect the cat’s personality. ” This information stunned me; maybe this is Milo’s problem.
Veterinarians examined him surgically and discovered his testicles were intact and not dropped. From the outside, he looks neutral, and since I found him, I don’t know his history.
Once disabled, he changes into a lovable, peaceful, and contented cat. Years passed and he never showed aggression, not even a scratch. He is very devoted to me, often follows me closely, and when I sit, he immediately lies on my lap. It was identified as the Norwegian Forest Cat, beautiful inside and out. I love him so much. I believe it was a stroke of luck when I overheard a quote on TV that changed Milo’s life.
