Quiz me, you dirty bots
It’s been tough getting to see the latest PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles. Between bots, slot machines, and live tactics, entire communities have formed around a common desire: the ability to simply buy these consoles within reason. If you’re having a hard time or you have a soft spot for scavenger hunts, We have a contest for you – a chance to win PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch OLED in one go.

In case you missed it, Destructoid launch my TikTok channel this year and our hosts Brett Medlock and Mary Stowe have been making game videos daily since then. Comic news summaryimpatient Resident Evil rantsand an amazingly realistic Waluigi rendering you can’t see – Depending on the day, Dtoid’s TikTok channel has a little bit of everything.
Admittedly this is a new take on Destructoid, and we thought it would be fun to run an old fashioned contest – with a ridiculous prize! – callback to the origin of this site.
Rest assured, you won’t have to film yourself. Instead, we have a puzzle for you to solve.
Here’s how to join, fellow
To win the Destructive TikTok Challengeyou will need find different letters scattered in some of our past (and future) TikToks. Then using these hidden letters you will assemble a mysterious word – a “person, place, or being,” as Brett eloquently puts it. If you are the first to submit the correct word as an answer to the contest announcement video on TikTok and you live in USA, congratulations! You just won all three consoles.
As of today, there are four clues floating around Destructoid’s TikTok channel, and more clues will follow soon. In two weeks we’ll be posting a new video letting you know when all the secret letters are officially released, but solving the case is up to you. Good luck!
