The Prince and Princess of Wales appeared outside Windsor Castle with Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to show solidarity as they watched the flowers left for the Queen.
The brothers and their wives stopped to view the many memorabilia outside the castle walls on Saturday afternoon, after leaving Balmoral in Scotland.
After spending time solemnly admiring the signs of respect left by members of the public, all four took time to greet the gathered crowd.

In a statement released earlier todayWilliam said the Queen was “by my side in my happiest moments” and “in the saddest days of my life”.
He is currently the heir to the throne after King Charles III ascended the throne.

The visit to Windsor Castle marks the first public appearance of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan since the Queen’s death.
Saturday’s mass appearance came after Prince William invited his brother and Megan to join him.
As he chatted with members of the public, Prince William was given a Paddington Bear toy – no doubt a reference to the appearance of his grandmother with the famous bear in the clip celebrating the Jubilee.
Megan was also seen hugging someone in the crowd as she and Harry made a rare public appearance alongside other royals, stepped back from their duties in 2020.
