Will the winning trend of the favorite team continue in Euro, Copa América?

So far, sports in 2024 are still dominated by favorites.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane.

Michigan started the new year by winning the National Championship. It has the fourth-best odds of the season at +1000 and is at +180 and is the favorite after the College Football Playoff field is announced.

The Kansas City Chiefs then won the Super Bowl with over 600 preseason favorites.

Moving on to college basketball, UConn was 12-1 to start the year and finished at +280 (favorite) before the first game of March Madness. Throughout the tournament, the No. 1 seed Huskies enjoyed at least 6.5 points in every game they played. They won every game by double digits.

South Carolina also won the women’s division after opening the season as favorites with +290 odds.

Also, world no Scottie Scheffler has dominated the PGA Tour this season, as he has won six tournaments (all as a favorite), including the Masters at +325.

Finally, this past week, Florida Newspaper And Boston Celtics both won their respective championships, adding to the list of favorites to win.

With Euro And Copa America The tournaments are taking place vigorously on FOX Network, will this trend continue?

France And England opened the Euro favorite at +400. France advanced to the Round of 16, but after a very disappointing draw against Poland, they failed to win their group and will face Belgium in the first round of the knockout stages.

France fell to +600 to win the tournament.

On the other hand, England won their group and will meet Slovakia in the round of 16.

England is now the sole favorite at +350.

Argentina And Brazil opened the Copa América as favorites at +175 and +220 respectively.

Argentina, the reigning Euro and World Cup champions, were defeated Canada 2-0 in the opening match. However, Brazil did not start the tournament very smoothly. It drew its first match against Costa Rica, in which Brazil were -1200 favourites.

Argentina currently sits as Sole favorite to win the tournament at +150.

Can England, France, Argentina and Brazil become the next favorites to win a major title or will an underdog finally make some noise?
