Why won’t HoYoVerse admit that the Genshin Impact port won’t happen?

HoYoVerse has announced a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact in January 2020. Yes, that is. more than four years ago. That version has not reappeared since, even though PS5 And Xbox Series X versions have appeared. Basically, we all accept that it doesn’t happen, at least for This version of the game consoleSo why doesn’t HoYoVerse admit that it’s canceled or postponed?

I feel like HoYoVerse had a lot of opportunities to come out and say, “Hey, the Switch version of Genshin Impact It may have brought it up when OLED Model launch in October 2021. There may be a general statement. The company may have cited a desire to ensure quality and performance. It may be noted that they will wait until the next generation of Nintendo consoles to bring Genshin Impactand maybe even other games, for the system. I feel like that would be a great opportunity, since we all know that it’s the most powerful standard Switch on the market.

Go ahead and acknowledge the Switch port though. Genshin Impact A delay around the PS5 launch would also be smart. It’s around the same time. HoYoVerse could also include some information about targeting higher system requirements in the future. Especially since we also know the PS4 version won’t look as nice after update 5.0. Again, admitting that the issue is one of quality and performance would be wise.

Do so then official website The March 2024 issue could also be the right decision! To reiterate, it eventually turned out to be temporarily offline earlier this year. HoYoVerse may have admitted that they changed it to note Genshin Impact coming to a Nintendo platform in the future besides the Switch! Nintendo even admitted at this point that they’re working on a new system. Let’s be honest with you, it might be a little weird.

Instead, we’re left in the awkward position of celebrating the Xbox Series X version of Genshin Impact when an announcement before the game’s September 2020 launch date isn’t here. Now that we’re in 2024 and approaching the Switch’s final years, it seems pointless to keep it hidden any longer. Just confirms what everyone suspected. Genshin Impact didn’t launch on the Switch as planned, but it’s possible we’ll see it on another Nintendo console somewhere in the future. Delays happen all the time, after all. And if an ongoing game eventually gets a bunch of different updates, you have to expect the system’s demands to increase over time.

Genshin Impact available on PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile, with an Xbox Series X version coming November 10, 2024.
