This is how the real estate lottery should work in FFXIV. For the first five days, people bid on available properties. After that period ends, players look to see if they won. They can go back to the land to claim it and claim their new home. This second part lasts four days.
However, FFXIV The housing lottery error means that the error message will appear on the plots in the second period. Square Enix’s announcement lists two possible announcements. One is “There are no participants in this lottery.” The other sentence is “The winning number is… 0. Wish you more luck next time.” Both are happening even when people have bid and someone is supposed to get a place to “live”.
