We are two weeks away from the driest time of the year in the Pacific Northwest.
But why? Why is the last week of July so arid around here, when that’s not true in the eastern half of the United States?

And then this weekend.
It’s not all bad, but our old friend, the eastern Pacific bottom, is coming to visit…..and, how do I say this politely? ? … such characteristics are not related to heat waves.
