WhatsApp saves the life of a student trapped under the rubble after the earthquake in Turkey

This turned out to be true in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Turkey. In a miraculous incident, a 20-year-old student was saved despite being trapped under the rubble. A student named Boran Kubat was rescued from the rubble of an apartment building in Eastern Turkey after he posted an appeal video on WhatsApp and even shared his location.

The student and his mother actually survived the first earthquake in the morning, but then they re-entered the building. However, a second earthquake occurred at that time and caused the building to collapse.

Fortunately, he survived, but was trapped under the rubble. Boran later submitted a video appeal from beneath the rubble of the apartment building. He recorded a video message on WhatsApp, begging for help and providing his address. He said: “Who see this WhatsApp status, come and help. Please everyone come to the rescue we now.” Thanks to this fascinating video, rescuers were able to locate and successfully rescue Boran and his mother from the wreckage.

According to a report of the Turkish Anadolu Agency, Boran reported that rescuers had to use sledgehammers several times to pinpoint their exact location.

“I carry my phone so I thought if I shared the video on social media, my friends could see it and they could contact us. They finally found us, me and my mother,” he said.

The family tragedy is not over yet

Unfortunately, tragedy still haunts the family. The student revealed that other members of his family are still trapped under the collapsed building. “They are trying to rescue one of my uncles, but another uncle and my grandmother are still trapped,” he told Anadolu.

In a similar incident, a YouTuber named Charmquell aka Firat Yayla was rescued from the central Antakya district of Hatay, a southern province of Turkey, after he shared a video with his address. on Instagram stories, Al Jazeera reported.
