WhatsApp Emoji Reactions Coming Soon! Sneak a picture

If you like WhatsApp emoji reactions, then things will get better for you anytime!

The long wait for WhatsApp emoji reactions will end soon! WhatsApp is rolling out some cool new emoji reactions for users to reply to messages. Besides emoji reactions, WhatsApp also announced other new features that will be rolling out to users in a blog post. This includes the WhatsApp community, Admin access to delete problematic messages, larger file sharing, and up to 32 participants in a single voice call. What’s really getting people excited, though, is the upcoming WhatsApp emoji reactions. WhatsApp has announced that emoji reactions will appear in your chat window and they can be used to reply to any message.

Expanded WhatsApp Emoji reactions

In the latest update, WhatsApp update tracker WaBetaInfo report says that when a new version of WhatsApp messenger is rolled out to beta users only, they can choose more emojis by clicking the plus button. A small video clip shared by WabetaInfo suggests that the update will give you the option to select emoji from the emoji keyboard.

“This feature is under development, so it will roll out to users after the release of the first version of message reactions, limited to 6 emojis: Like, Love, Smile, Surprise, Sad and Thanks. In the meantime, WhatsApp is working to improve the final version of the message response, to ensure the best error-free experience for users,” the report mentioned.

Besides, WhatsApp is also working to keep the message option disappearing in case the user wants to continue the conversation even after it has expired. WaBetaInfo shared a screenshot of the upcoming feature showing that when you hold a message, it won’t disappear from the chat even if it expires. It will also offer an option to ‘unhold’ it though, in case you don’t agree to keep the message in the chat after it expires. This simply means, if a message is kept with the update option, it will be converted to a normal message. Meanwhile, if you ‘unhold’ a message, it will be deleted immediately for everyone from the chat.

When these updates will be rolled out to WhatsApp users is still unclear.
