It takes quite a bit of work to get a new character in The Genshin effect up to inhalation, especially when it comes to artifacts. gangster (Scaramouche), along with the Flower of Paradise Lost and Desert Pavilion Chronicle artifact sets, released on The Genshin effect on December 7, 2022. Unlike Kazuha or Ganyu, he is extremely easy to craft as he is good for one thing and one thing only: pure Anemo DMG. As such, he benefits from any set that boosts his base ATK or Anemo DMG output, meaning you only really need to consider four sets in the game.
For those not sure what to wear him, here are some suggestions for this Anemo DPS.
2 ATK +18%/2 Anemo DMG +15%
For this one, you have several options. You can get two Gladiator Finals or two Shimenawa Memoirs for ATK rewards. For Anemo DMG items, you can use Viridescent Veneer or Desert Pavilion Chronicle. Given how long sets other than the Desert Pavilion Chronicles have been in the game (with Shimenawa coming out in 2.0 and the other two already in the game since launch), this could be an option easiest until you have time to plow more Desert Chronicles Restaurants.
4 Chronicles of the Desert Pavilion
This is, like Tulaytullah’s Memorial, The Genshin effect The artifact is given to the Wanderer (Scaramouche), which means it’s his best. As mentioned earlier, 2 shards will give him a 15% Anemo DMG bonus. When 4 shards are available, a charged attack deals 40% damage to his normal, charged, and dashing attacks. It will also increase his Normal Attack speed. His whole fighting style revolves around normal attacks and barrage attacks, so this is awesome. His charged attacks also don’t consume health if you use them while Hanega is active, so you can spam them while the 40% attack bonus increases to tons of damage.
2 Shimenawa / 2 Gladiators
If you want to get the most out of pure ATK, this is also a great choice. Just make sure you have good key stats on your pieces. Players who have been involved since Version 2.0 must have had some pretty nice ones for both sets. You can make up for the lack of Anemo rewards with Anemo DMG cups.
Sets aren’t the only thing you have to watch out for. Key stats for each piece are also important when it comes to a good build. Your watch should be ATK, and ideally your mug should be Anemo DMG. You can get rid of ATK, but Anemo DMG is better. Finally, you should try to aim for Critical Damage for your circle. This is because he naturally has a high Base Critical Rate.
If you want to build your Scaramouche to work with Vortex reactions, you might consider artifact sets like the Wanderer (Ha!), Viridescent 4-piece Veneer, or Gold-plated Dream. In my opinion he is perfectly fine as a pure Anemo DPS. Even running him with the Gladiator 2-piece and the Desert Booth’s 2-piece set, he performed superbly as the main DPS on a National team.
