I arranged it by Maserati two newest droptop offerings — GranCabrio Trofeo And GranCabrio Folgore electric convertible – for testing in Northern Italy. Both of these cars approach high-speed grand touring in extremely different ways despite their similar looks, but we’ll get to that later. Regardless, before I start riding these two wonderfully balanced Italian machines, I want to know what you want to know about them.

What questions about GranCabrio trofeo And Folgore EV is keeping you up at night? What details would you like me to notice on these two cars when driving them around Da Boot? Drop down below in the comments and let me know!

I think we should review some of the boilerplate content for both cars, to address that issue. First up, we have the GranCabrio Trofeo. I actually just drove this car’s sibling, the GranTurismo Trofeoand it’s quite adorable and very fast. A full video review will be available soon. Powering the Trofeo is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 that produces 542 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque through ZF 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. That’s good enough to propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, and it’ll hit a top speed of 196 mph, while enveloping you in rThe leather smells like ich and the buttons are sourced from Chrysler. The coupe is a pretty lovely car, and I suspect the convertible will only enhance the experience of the loud-sounding V6.

GranCabrio FologoreOn the other hand, it’s a completely different beast. Sure, it looks similar to a car powered by an internal combustion engine, but it ditches the V6 for three electric motors, one in the front and two in the back. Like all electric vehicles, it has lightning-fast acceleration thanks to the 818 horsepower (with overboost) and 996 pound-feet of torque that the three motors produce. Energy is stored in a 92.5 kWh battery, of which 83 kWh is usable and it can DC fast charging with 800V architecture. It will also reach a top speed of 180 mph if you’re brave enough to keep your foot in it.

Either way, both of these cars are sure to be fun to drive, but before we hit the road, I’d like to know what you want to know about them. Come down below and share your thoughts and questions!
