What are you playing this week, Destructoid?
The Book of Death
Good morning, good day, good weekend and welcome to Whatcha Been Playing. Yer’s boy Moyse continues to endure what has been move house draw the most in recorded memory, (we’re getting there, dood), and as such lived a life entirely comprised of working on Destructoid and moving around. Honestly, it’s exhausting. It’s been a non-stop week for me, with only movie podcasts and a topic tracker about Dead Devil (two thousand and thirteen). This seems to be a much better movie than any right.
Pause any precious ones and check if you haven’t already. It’s pretty cool. Dare I say… that is… happy?
Machined.
So I haven’t been able to play the game this week, (my distraction is still boxed) and I’m starting to feel a heavy withdrawal from the game. Hades, Street Fighter, Celeste, Returnand other favorites. c. Honestly, I can’t wait to plug it back in, all this “sunlight” and “moving around” can’t be good for my aging eyes, bones and soul. That said, it would probably be nice to take a break from these game-forces from time to time. They say absence makes hearts hard, and I can only find myself loving Zagreus’ collarbone more deeply as time goes on.
I will swallow your (gaming) soul
So I send you, dear Destructoid readers, to quench my gaming thirst this weekend. While I can suffer without digital gratification, you are not so hindered. So before you get to what I hope is a really fun weekend going, feel free to hit the comments section below and let us know Whatcha Been Playing? It’s certainly been the driest month of the year so far, but that frees up the schedule for backlogs – both recent and long-term. So join the party, influence your friends and remember to shop smart, shop at S-Mart.
Wishing you all a great weekend at Destructoid.
