Looks like there’s a lack of open wheel action this weekend after the cancellation of F1’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prixbut there’s the Indianapolis 500 qualifier right here in the US. Field 33 will be placed at the end of this section weekend for the Greatest Spectacle in Race. Because three days, American open race series will showcase cars in excess of 230 mph as racers vie for pole position and a spot on the starting grid because Legendary race.
Meanwhile, NASCAR is honoring its roots this weekend at North Wilkesboro Raceway for this year’s All-Star race. It’s been nearly 30 years since NASCAR hosted an event at the North Carolina short circuit. All-Star weekend will also feature a unique format with heat races and pit-stop competition to qualify.
