Volta’s electric delivery vans will arrive in the US in 2023

Volta yes disclosure that it is bringing its urban delivery EVs to the United States, starting with a test fleet of 100 Type 7s (16.5 US tons) truck to Los Angeles in mid-2023. U.S. production will begin in 2024, with an “experienced” manufacturer selected later this year. This upcoming truck will be followed by lighter Class 5 (9.8 tonnes) and Class 6 (13 tonnes) models in 2024 and 2025.
Class 7 Volta Zero range is short, with module the battery offers between 95 and 125 miles of driving. However, that is more than enough for city deliveries. However, these are still conventional designs using only electricity, not the original EVs. Volta can attract customers simply by making a more compelling case for weeding out fleets of diesel and gas-powered vehicles.
