Buyers of the petrol-powered Volkswagen Amarok will get a $3,000 discount for nearly three months, running alongside other incentives for the model.
Until September 30, Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452 – the only non-diesel version in the pickup lineup – is available with a $3,000 factory bonus, which applies to the as-tested price of both 2023 and 2024 models.
Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452 prices vary by state and territory, as well as model year MY23 to MY24.
Volkswagen has beefed up the Aventura TSI452 price increase $3000 on list prices from February 1 for MY24 models, as part of a price increase across the entire pick-up truck range.

The Volkswagen Amarok is a rarity in Australia’s booming pick-up market as it comes with a petrol engine, along with other options including the top-spec version. Ford Ranger Raptor, Jeep Gladiator and the most basic example of Toyota Hilux.
The Amarok Aventura TSI452 is powered by a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 222kW of power and 452Nm of torque.
Compared to the Aventura TDI600’s 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6, the petrol-powered pickup has 38kW more power but 148Nm less torque.
The car’s engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission combined with full-time four-wheel drive.
The Amarok has a braked towing capacity of up to 3,500kg and a gross vehicle weight of 6,500kg.
