Sime Darby Auto Selection introduces extended warranty program +HYBRID for used BMW PHEVs
Sime Darby Auto Selection (SDAS), Sime Darby Motors’ multi-brand used car dealer, has introduced an extended warranty program (EWP) for used BMW plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) use.
Called +HYBRID, EWP works in partnership with EWP Guard My Ride (GMR) provider and insurance company RHB. The first such program on the market and dedicated to SDAS, +HYBRID includes Electromechanical Electronics (EME), High Voltage Batteries, Integrated Generators (electric motors) and Battery Management Electronics (SMEs). ) of a used BMW PHEV sold by SDAS, providing extra peace of mind. Programming and wiring are excluded.
From now on, every used BMW PHEV sold by SDAS will automatically come with an EWP. SDAS customers who purchased a BMW PHEV prior to the +HYBRID launch can purchase coverage from the SDAS 3S center in Glenmarie.
SDAS says vehicles with less than 140,000 km of mileage and under the age of 8 are eligible for an EWP in the amount of up to RM15,000 per claim, for a total of up to RM100,000 per year depending on the type. and age of the vehicle. Applicable models are PHEVs officially sold by BMW in Malaysia, including 330e, 530e, 740Le and X5 40e/45e. Cars will go through a pre-purchase inspection by SDAS.
