A lifeguard, named Zach, along with Molly’s Mutts met Maple in the bunker. The poor dog was wrapped in bandages because of his serious injury. When Zach knelt in front of Maple and gave her some pets, he realized that she had “baby energy” for her. She definitely has the will to survive, she just needs a helping hand.
Zach decides to get Maple out of the shelter and take her to the veterinary clinic. Amazingly, despite all that Pit Bull had been through, the moment Zach picked up the injured puppy and carried him out of the shelter, his whole body relaxed. She trusted Zach as soon as she felt his loving touch.
Maple is a true warrior. She never behaves like an injured dog. A woman named Randi saw Maple’s video online and knew she would be the perfect adoptive mother for the worthy puppy. Maple needs proper medical care and regular vet visits – Randi is sure she can provide all of that (and lots of love!) And then, the sweetest thing. happened next!
Randi saw Maple transform as the vet staff cut the little red hearts and placed them on her bandages. They also added a butterfly headband. Randi says in the video below that Maple’s head was taller that day, instead of going down and her tail standing up. Maple understands that she looks more likable and approachable.
