2023 is going to be a pretty big year for the Switch. It’s only started January, but we already know that we’ll be playing matches like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Fire Emblem joins, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxeand Pikmin 4 within the next 12 months, and that’s all while being fully aware that Nintendo may have a boat load of other surprises up its sleeve. Phew!
However, we’re a sentimental team here at Nintendo Life, and we love our 3DS console. The problem, however, is that most people understandably moved on and are now taking their Switches out while traveling. What the Switch lacks, however, is the great Street Pass feature from the 3DS, and we think it’s about time we start getting those sweet hits from the green Street Pass notification light again.
So our lovely video maker Zion has a simple request: if you go out, wherever you are, whether it’s shopping, going on vacation, going to a meeting or even just take a walk at the local park, tuck the 3DS into your pocket in sleep mode with the wireless connection active. Zion’s mission in 2023 is to see which locations are best to get those Street Pass hits, but we’ll need your help. Keep the dream alive!
