Disney wants its new Kart racer to offer a ‘fair’ free-to-play experience

If you’re a fan of the kart racing genre, you’ve no doubt caught your eye on Gameloft’s upcoming free-to-play title. Disney Speedstormcoming to Switch and more platforms later this year.

If you’re worried about the pay-to-win factors, there’s obviously no need to worry. Talking to GameXplain recently in a Q&A interviewGameloft director, Aska Suzuki, responded to a question posed that if players do not spend real money, they will be disadvantaged at all.

This game will be backed by a sizable cast of Disney and Pixar characters and courses. The developer also said that they tried to go their own way, instead of copying existing arcade racers, like the Mario Kart series.
