USFL Week 10 Highlights: New Orleans Breakers beat Houston Gamblers
week 10 of USFL is underway, with only two games left on the schedule for this season.
To kick things off on Sunday on FS1, New Orleans Cutter (7-3) knockdown Houston Gambler (5-5) in Memphis, earning their first knockout spot.
Then in Detroit, Philadelphia Star (4-5) against Michigan newspaper (3-6) at 7pm ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app.

Break it open
Neither team scored in the first half, but New Orleans broke the tie early in the second half, when McLeod Bethel-Thompson unbutton a nice coin to Johnny Dixon for the 30-yard score.
Dixon has something to say after the big reception.

Houston responded with a long line of its own, but it was cut short by Vontae Diggswho intercepted with a nifty toe touch.

The Breakers’ first hit in the second half yielded more points, as Bethel-Thompson guided his team 80 yards over 11 innings to make it 14-0. He found Dee Anderson on a quick incline for score.

Afterward Kenji Bahar chain some nice passes to push Houston into the red zone, Mark Thomson completed the team’s first TD shot.

After scoring on the pitch to extend the lead, the Breakers needed a big play from their defence, and were scored again by Diggs. He makes his way into the backyard to retrieve a giant sack that kills Houston’s momentum in an attempt to tie it up.
