Professional landscape photographers have a number of common habits and productivity tricks that they use to be more productive and ensure that they come home with the best images possible. You never know when you might want to tweak the layout a bit in a post, especially if you miss out on some distracting elements that throw the image out of balance. If you don’t have room to mess around, you may have to remove the image. And with the resolution of most modern cameras, there’s really no reason not to give yourself a little extra to work with.
