Understanding the psychology behind the COVID pandemic

In the video above, Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of the core technology behind vaccines mRNA and DNA,first assesses a theory professor Mattias Desmet, a Belgian psychologist and statistician, who believes to explain the irrational and irrational behavior we are seeing worldwide in relation to the COVID pandemic and its measures method of dealing with it.

He called the phenomenon “massive psychosis,” a type of mass hypnosis that resulted in the literal conversion of large sections of the population into psychosis. Massive psychosis was the explanation for German acceptance of Nazi atrocities in the 1930s, and why so many people around the world supported the regime. Racism in healthcare and the current eradication of the unvaccinated.

It was absurd and inhumane, many people wondered how we got here. As it turns out, the psychology of totalitarianism has been studied for decades, and the whole thing can in fact be explained as a mental phenomenon that arises when certain conditions exist. in a society.

Four basic conditions for ‘block formation’

The four central conditions that need to exist for a mass disorder to begin to develop are:

first. Lack of social connection – Social isolation was a common problem long before the pandemic. In one survey, 25% of respondents said they don’t have a single close friend. The COVID lockdown also contributes to and worsens the isolation that already exists. We have all been told that any contact with others, including members of our family, could be a death sentence.

2. View life as meaningless, purposeless and senseless, and/or face persistently unreasonable circumstances – Desmet cites research that shows half of adults feel their jobs are absolutely meaningless, giving no value to yourself or others.

In another poll, conducted in 2012, 63% of respondents said they sleepwalked during the workday, not putting passion into their work. So condition #2 for hypnosis of mass formation was also met, even before the pandemic hit.

Events that occurred in late 2019 and early 2020, such as the many questions surrounding the presidential election and the initial COVID lockdown, added fuel to widespread confusion and uncertainty, leads to the next state: floating anxiety.

3. Free-floating anxiety and free-floating discontent – Free-floating anxiety refers to anxiety that has no obvious or distinct cause. Judging by the ubiquity of antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs, condition #3 was also taken long before the pandemic hit, but the extra fuel was piling up just before the pandemic. Translate.

Many people have felt and still feel that “things are not right”. Through 2020, it has become increasingly clear to more and more people that most if not all of the systems on which we depend are broken and potentially irreparably damaged, including health systems, our electoral system and our judicial system.

4. Widespread frustration and aggression – This tends to happen spontaneously after the previous three seasons. Here again, frustration and aggression have no obvious cause.

How mass formation allowed totalitarianism to rise

When these four conditions are met by a large enough segment of society, they are ripe for the transition to psychosis, completely out of touch with reality, thereby leading to the rise of totalitarianism. . As Malone explains, when the pandemic broke out, people around the world were obsessed with one thing: the virus.

People everywhere think about, read and talk about the virus almost just about everything else. This strange concentration, this obsession, has the basic conditions for mass formation already in place, allowing a large part of the population to fall into a trance-like state.

In that hypnosis-like state (it is very similar to ordinary hypnosis but with minor differences), the person loses the ability to think and make rational judgments.

As Malone has noted, there is evidence that at least part of this psychological activity has been purposefully carried out, by “some entity with a financial interest or power to gain from doing so.” this, which has become global totalitarianism”. Now, once a large part of society is overly focused on and combined with their common grievances and anxieties, all it takes is a leader or leaders to convince many people that The dictatorial control and loss of freedom that is best for them are:

One) Present a story in which the cause of anxiety is identified, and then

b) Come up with a strategy to neutralize that cause

Social links are key

By accepting and engaging with whatever the strategy may be, people with anxiety disorders feel equipped to control their anxiety and avoid panic. They also feel a strong bond with others, because they all identify with the same enemy. As explained by Desmet in the Peak Prosperity interview below:

“Because many people engage in the same strategies for dealing with anxiety subjects, a new kind of social bonding emerges a new kind of solidarity. So people feel connected again in a new way. And that’s really the most important thing.

If you look at the corona crisis and listen to the mainstream narrative, you will hear that everything is about solidarity. You have to participate, you have to accept the vaccine. You have to respect social distancing, because otherwise you lack citizenship, you don’t show solidarity. That is the most important thing, always, in mass formation.

That’s the real reason why people buy into the story, even if it’s completely ridiculous. It’s not because they believe the narrative. That’s because the story leads to a new social link. That’s the real reason.

Yes [also another] favorable. All frustration and aggression can be directed at one object. And that audience is people who for one reason or another do not want to join the mass formation …

So you have a very strange situation where people start from a very negative and divided mental state; [they have a] lack of social connection, lack of meaning, free-floating anxiety and a lot of frustration and aggression.

They move from this highly repulsive mental state to a symptomatic positive state, where they feel connected. Their lives regain meaning through this heroic struggle with the object of anxiety… That’s why people continue to believe the narrative, even when it’s completely absurd.” .

Mass formation psychosis is a self-destructive condition

The crazy thing is that the story might be an obvious lie, but followers of this hypnotic spell will believe it. The remedy may be completely absurd, but they will obey. This is how totalitarianism was allowed to rise.

Of course, the common enemy must always be destroyed – the “cause” of people’s fear and anxiety – and under a totalitarian dictatorship that enemy is anyone who is not enchanted. Dissidents are the enemy. In 2021, the unexplored and the unvaccinated are the enemy.

If people just get the test stab, COVID will go away and people can go back to feeling safe again. That’s the story. It makes no sense, it’s absurd, inhuman, and unscientific, but people in mass psychosis believe it’s as simple as that, and that’s why some may expected death on unmasked and/or unvaccinated individuals.

So, as Malone noted, “If it seems to you that the rest of the world has gone mad, it’s true that they have.” A much bigger problem than any virus today is its own mass formation.

It is a very dangerous situation, both for those who are enchanted and those who are not, because the “mental intoxication” makes people willing to do things that are clearly wrong and completely wrong. completely immoral, up to and including voluntarily killing one’s family. and themselves, if told it was for the greater good. In short, many people become gullible and deeply self-destructive, which is a terrifying combination.

As noted by Desmet, in a dictatorship, people conform because they fear the dictator. In a totalitarian regime, however, mass formation psychosis is at work, and this gives the regime extreme power over the individual, for everyone, while in this trance. , voluntarily destroying their families, lives and selves, along with the foregoing. enemy.

Totalitarianism Is Inevitable?

Malone said that in his conversation with Desmet, Desmet said he believes mass-forming psychosis is so widespread at this time that global totalitarianism may be unavoidable. He believes it will be successful, as we are seeing in some countries. So what, if anything, can we do? A summary of the recommendations is as follows:

Continue to provide truthful and accurate information to combat misinformation. Some people who are not fully hypnotized can still be brought back to a state of consciousness. Speaking up can also help curb the atrocities that totalitarian regimes encourage, because in totalitarianism, atrocities and crimes against humanity increase when disagreements arise. opinion is reduced.

Replace the fear of virus stories with stories that highlight an even bigger fear – the fear of totalitarianism. “Totalitarianism is a bigger abuser than the virus,” Malone said. “Losing control to Bill Gates, the World Economic Forum, BlackRock and Vanguard is a bigger threat than SARS-CoV-2 to you and your children by far.”

Desmet tested this theory and found that you CAN break the hypnotic focus on COVID if you can focus their attention on something even more interesting to them.

Join other dissidents into larger groups. This gives the majority of those who are not fully hypnotized but too scared to go against the grain an alternative to going with the totalitarians.

Build parallel structures in your local community. Think globally, act locally. Start developing parallel structures to heal the four basic conditions that allow mass formation to happen in the first place.

A parallel structure is any business, organization, technology, movement, or creative pursuit that fits into a totalitarian society while being morally outside of it. Once enough parallel structures are created, a parallel culture is born that functions as a sanctuary of sanity in the totalitarian world.

The gravity of our circumstances

To hear from Desmet himself, listen to his hour-long interview with Dr. Chris Martenson. As Desmet noted, because self-destruction is built into totalitarian systems from the start, dictatorships cannot last forever. They disintegrate when they are destroyed from within. That is a good news.

The bad news is that it can be hell while it lasts, as totalitarianism built on mass formation almost always leads to barbaric atrocities done in the name of good deeds. . There are usually few survivors in the end.

That said, Desmet believes that this new global totalitarianism is less stable than the totalitarian systems led by regional dictators, so it could self-destruct faster. He has just finished writing his book “The Psychology of Totalitarianism”, which is scheduled to be published in January 2022.
