Before pre-orders for God of War Ragnarök open July 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time (10 a.m. EST), we’ll walk you through all versions of the game, as well as the launch items.

God of War Ragnarok – Release of in-version items
When you purchase God of War Ragnarok before launch, you will receive Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Dress (cosmetic). *

God of War Ragnarok – Standard Edition
God of War Ragnarök Standard Edition (digital and physical) comes with the full game for PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.
If you purchase the standard version of God of War Ragnarök for PlayStation 4, you can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for $10 USD (or currency equivalent).
God of War Ragnarok – Digital Deluxe Edition
Included in God of War Ragnarok Digital Deluxe Edition you will get:
- God of War Ragnarok . Full Game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.

God of War Ragnarök – Collector’s Edition
As you can see in the video above, God of War Ragnarök Collector’s Edition is housed in a beautiful box representing Temple of the Keeper of Knowledge. This temple is the trio that Kratos and Atreus encountered in God of War (2018), depicting the story of a powerful seer, the Giant Witch named Gróa, who first had visions of Ragnarök .
Opening the temple, you will see the following:
- Printable coupon codes for the entire God of War Ragnarok . game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.*
- Steel book display case (game disc not included) – Ragnarök Steel Book display case depicting versions of Bear and Wolf.
- 2” Carved Vanir Twins – In a similar style to the Huldra Brothers’ Atreus wooden carving toy from God of War (2018), the Collector’s Edition of God of War Ragnarök completes the set with the Vanir Twins carving.
- Dwarf dice set – This set comes with a dice set with a wood-like finish in a dice bag with Yggdrasil’s logo on the outside.
- 16” Mjölnir replica – Highly detailed replica of Thor’s signature weapon from the God of War Ragnarök.
