Ukraine War: G7 Leaders Under Pressure to Stand Together and Unyielding to Putin’s Aggression | UK News
The Prime Minister addressed the G7 leaders after asking them to take off their clothes.
“We all have to prove we are tougher than Putin,” joked Boris Johnson.

They may have mocked the Russian leader known for his tendency to go topless in public stunts.
But Vladimir Putin had already sent his message to the G7, sending 14 cruise missiles to residential buildings and other targets in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
“There’s been more and more barbarism,” US President Joe Biden said when asked about the attacks.
As the war entered its fifth month, the G7 leaders knew they had to build solidarity against that barbarism.

And Mr Johnson and Emmanuel Macron have worked hard to show that they carry on despite their differences.
Two months ago, the war seemed to be working in Ukraine’s favor, possibly ending by the end of the year.
Now, Russia has the upper hand and is on the verge of taking over the entire Donbas region.
The battle looks set to go on for a considerable amount of time to come.
That means the West must fend for itself a protracted conflict and show lasting solidarity.
The challenge it faces in doing this is politically weak leadership and divisions over the best path forward.
Johnson and Biden are unpopular and Macron has lost control of the French parliament, meaning he will be distracted by domestic wars ahead.
It seems that they have buried the vault now, but there is a clear difference on whether to negotiate with Putin and pressure the Ukrainians to yield their land for the sake of peace.
The longer the war lasted, the greater the chance of division. And the consequences of war are even greater.
It is driving up food and fuel prices, increasing inflation and the possibility of a recession.

During the summit talks, host Germany is said to be trying to reject proposals to end funding for fossil fuel projects abroad, as it is trying to phase out Russian energy. .
The longer the war dragged on, the pressure on these leaders to stick together and not succumb to Putin’s aggression.
