Posting a tribute to his friend on social media, Mr Dyson wrote that on the day Mr Mackintosh was killed, “his unit was gripped and suffered casualties and Craig [being] a doctor, did his job and was assisting his soldiers, and was running across the clearing when he was unfortunately shot…”
