Tyson Fury and Chisora clash in the crowd
After some special negotiations for a showdown earlier this year, it looks like no love has been lost between heavyweights Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora.
‘The Gypsy King’ has two wins over its countryman, and has expressed interest in the past making it a trilogy before either of them hangs up their gloves. Recently, back and forth online suggested that the fight was possible but, as everything happens in boxing, the plan fell through.
Apparently with business unfinished, Chisora put together Fury’s interview at Manchester’s AO Arena following a heavyweight clash between Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker. The moment in the crowd was captured by TalkSPORT.
“You said go down to Manchester and I’ll fight you bare-knuckle. You’re saying sh * t – and I told you, I’m here… Don’t send me messages like that. “
Fury responded by bringing up recent talks between the two about a professional boxing match and not anything unlicensed. However, he doesn’t shy away from the idea.
“Why don’t you sign the contract?”
“I will fight you if you want. No problem. Anytime, anywhere, anywhere. Listen, you have [offered] two million and you turned it down. “
Chisora claims he was never sent anything, and Fury said there was no need to send an offer – alluding to a gentleman’s deal rather than a firm contract. However, the conversation turned to a potential war that had a – Fury vs Anthony Joshua.
Chisora tells her former rival that, if a fight happens, ‘AJ’ will win. Fury disagreed, saying he would beat Joshua in six rounds, and suggested fighting ‘Del-Boy’ between rounds.
🥊 “If there is a fight, AJ will win.”
🤣 “I’ll beat him in 6 rounds and I’ll fight you between rounds.”

The back and forth continued, the couple arguing about rivals, friends and fighting again. It was eventually broken down by John Fury, Tyson’s father.
Fury and Chisora’s relationship in sports has had its ups and downs. While they’re usually friendly, this confrontation shows that it’s a thing of the past – no man acts like it’s set up or joking.
