Fasig-Tipton has added three extra supplemental entries to its upcoming November Sale. All three entries shall be consigned by Denali Stud, agent for the Property of Michael Baum.
The primary is Bye Bye Baby (Hip 268), a young daughter of Galileo who was a group stakes winner at 3 and classic placed in the Investec Oaks (G1) at Epsom. She was also a stakes winner and group stakes placed at 2. She is a full sister to four stakes winners, three of which are group stakes winners and include 2020 Investec Derby (G1) winner Serpentine . Her dam, Remember When (Danehill Dancer), who also placed in the Epsom Oaks, is a half sister to European champions Dylan Thomas and Queen’s Logic . Bye Bye Baby is in foal to Tapit , North America’s all-time leading sire by progeny earnings.
Following Bye Bye Baby through the ring will be the mare’s weanling colt by War Front (Hip 269), her second foal. War Front, already the sire of eight champions and 23 grade/group 1 winners, has crossed well with Galileo mares. That cross has produced grade/group 1 winners U S Navy Flag , who took the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes (G1) and Darley Dewhurst Stakes (G1) at 2 before adding the Darley July Cup (G1) at 3; Fog of War , winner of the Summer Stakes (G1T) at Woodbine; and Roly Poly , who at 3 captured the Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes (G1), Prix Rothschild (G1), and Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes (G1).
The third addition is Ivyetsu (Hip 270), a daughter of Tapit who was a winner at 2 and graded stakes placed at 3, narrowly beaten in the 2020 Sweetest Chant Stakes (G3T) at Gulfstream Park by winner Cheermeister and Micheline . She is a half sister to French group stakes winner Last Kingdom and to the dam of Dubai Honour , a multiple group stakes winner in France this year. Most recently, Dubai Hounour finished second in the QIPCO Champion Stakes (G1) at Ascot. Ivyetsu, a 4-year-old filly, is cataloged as a broodmare prospect.
These entries may now be viewed online and also will be out there within the equineline gross sales catalog app. Printed variations of the supplemental catalog shall be out there on the gross sales grounds at sale time.
The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton’s marquee breeding inventory sale at its Newtown Paddocks facility in Lexington, will happen on Tuesday, Nov. 9 and begins at 2 p.m. ET.
