TikTok star Noodle, a pug famous for his ability to sleep and forecast the weather of the daypassed away on Friday at the age of 14.
New York City-based Jonathan Graziano has TikTok to announce the news to his 4.4 million followers the next day.
“This is extremely sad. It’s very difficult,” said Graziano, with tears in her eyes. “It’s a day I always knew would come but never thought it would.”
Graziano said Noodle died in his arms at his home.
“I want to encourage you to celebrate him while we navigate this sadness,” Graziano said. “He’s lived for 14 and a half years, the length of time you would expect a dog to live, and he’s made millions of people happy. It’s been a race.”
Noodles won the internet with almost daily videos of the game called “boneless”. Graziano will lift Noodle out of his bed, and if the pug flops down again, it’s a “boneless” day, and warns everyone to stay calm and take risks. If he’s still standing, it’s a “bones” day, encouraging people to take risks and be passionate.
Graziano and Noodle took a break from posting regular videos at the end of September. Graziano said the heavy commute had put him and Noodle down, citing Noodle’s substandard condition.
“He’s not doing well,” he said on September 28 on Instagram. “We’re working great, but we’re recalibrating a bit here.”
A day later, he wrote, “He’s 14 and a half years old and as many of you know A LOT comes with that age. Right now we’re just navigating some ‘a lot’.”
Noodle, adopted by Graziano at age 7 and a half, wasn’t always consistent in deciding whether the day was a “bone” or “boneless” day or a walk, but when it did, fans watched.
He will be ignored.
