Tiger Woods Returns to Golf: Teenage Playtime, TV Coverage, Live Streams & More to Watch the 2021 PNC Championship

The moment the golf world has been waiting for has finally arrived: Tiger Woods returns to golf after a fatal car crash in February.

Woods will play with his 12-year-old son Charlie Woods in the 2021 PNC Championship, also known as the father-son golf tournament. The event is known for famous golfers pairing up with their sons or fathers – or even their daughters – to compete against each other. It ran for two days with 36 holes.

The last time Woods competed professionally was at the PNC Championships last year. The Wood father and son duo finished seventh, which is pretty good for Charlie’s PGA debut. He was one of the youngest contestants at the event.

THAN: Tiger Woods explains why he won’t play golf full-time ‘again’

Two weeks ago, Woods hosted the World Hero Contest and made his first public appearance since the car crash. Before the tournament, he posted a video on social media of him swinging a golf club. All of this has fans eagerly awaiting whether Woods will return to golf. When speaking to the media, Woods said he doesn’t think he’ll be on the PGA Tour again as a full-time participant, but he hopes to play here and there. However, he hasn’t given any indication of a return anytime soon. So when he announced that he would be competing in the PNC Championship, fans were shocked.

Woods will also play in Friday’s backing event, but Charlie will not participate in the backing event. There is also a Thursday morning, but Woods will be sidelined for that inning. He will play with Charlie on Saturday and Sunday.

Here’s everything you need to know to follow Woods’ return to golf, including a TV schedule, live streaming options, and tee times.
