The most anticipated attraction will open at Disney World in 2024 has to be Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. And now we have the exact opening date so you can plan your summer trip accordingly.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which replaces the Splash Mountain attraction in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, will open to guests on June 28.
Those who have one Walt Disney World Annual Pass or Disney Vacation Club Member those hoping to get a sneak preview of the ride will have to wait until May 14, when additional information about that process will be announced.

The log cabin ride – and its five-story drop – that was present when the Splash Mountain-themed ride will remain, but the theme, setting and story of the ride when it opens next month , everything will be new. The new plot of the ride takes place after the movie “The Princess and the Frog”.

Disney shares that it will be set during the Mardi Gras season, and guests can expect a bayou filled with music, magic, and new friends, including raccoons, rabbits, and beavers. There are also famous characters in the movie in the form Completely new animation that will be voiced by the stars who brought them to life, including Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana.
Along the way, you can expect all-new music and some favorite hits from “The Princess and the Frog.”
Disney has also shared that the aroma of fried beets will be on the list of attractions, which seems only fitting given the French Quarter setting.
The former Splash Mountain attraction at Disneyland in California is also now closed and transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on the West Coast. Disney shared that the project’s opening timeline in Anaheim is “late 2024”.
That means those who want to enter Tiana’s world as soon as possible should aim for a trip to Disney World in Florida this summer, as we’re “almost there” with the first float down follow the bayou.
