Takumi Kitamura has been cast as Yusuke Urameshi, the protagonist of the upcoming live-action adaptation of Yu Yu Hakusho. Kitamura previously portrayed protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki in the live-action film of Tokyo RevergersIt’s a Highest grossing Japanese films of 2021. Comics Natalie provided an actor interview with Kitamura regarding his casting as Yusuke in Yu Yu Hakusho. He said he thought it was a joke and laughed when he found out he got the role.
