This is the only Dodge Viper RT/10 10-seat automatic V8 in the world
Even if you never buy one, you have to admit it original Dodge Viper RT/10 is a great car. V10 engine. No luxury features or driver assistance. The risk of death is high if you make even the slightest mistake. It’s completely unbelievable. The only downside is that if you want to risk the lives of more than one friend, you’re out of luck. At least you had before someone built this Viper limo.
Currently listed on Facebook Marketplace for $160,000, it looked like it had only four seats at first. And honestly, that would be hilarious. Imagine building a 25-foot Viper limo and adding only two additional seats. But the original builder took the sensible, practical route and added bench seating along the sides.
So how many people can you really fit in your new Viper limo? The seller says 12, but it’s worth noting that there are only enough seat belts for 10. So not 12. Call me a coward, but I’m pretty sure no one should ride in a Viper limo convertible without a seat belt. I guess my youth is really behind me now.

Now for the bad news: Back when this thing first popped up for sale a little over a year ago, a Road & Track article hints that it still has the original V10 that made the Viper so great. But that’s incorrect, or the engine blows up between then and now, because the current listing says it has a V8. At least whoever gave the Viper limo a new engine is keeping it in the family. The seller said it was a 360 Magnum barrel engine that produced 390 horsepower.
What’s more disappointing than the engine swap, however, is the fact that it has an automatic transmission. That’s probably convenient for driving 10 people around in Vegas traffic or at a parade, but still. Vipers should have manuals, dammit.
Is a Viper with a V8 and an automatic still a Viper? I’ve never taken a philosophy class, so I can’t say. But if you’ve got $160k to burn a hole in your pocket and want something truly unique, it’s hard to think of something more unique than a V8 automatic Viper limo.
