This dog and duck are the cutest BFFs
Biss and Olee are best friends – the couple loves to hang out and play on the Oklahoma ranch where they live.
What makes their friendship all the more special is that Biss is a giant 150-pound Newfoundlander, and Olee is a tiny 5-pound duck!
The pair became friends in the spring of 2020 after Biss was adopted by rancher, Jessie Vallier.
“During the Covid shutdown, we decided we ‘need’ a 3rd Newf in our life. We’ve always wanted a brown bear and I reached out to our favorite rescue to let her know we were getting another one. Little did we know that in the coming weeks we would tragically lose one of our girls. Biss entered our lives soon after and helped her mother heal. I thank him for his sweet spirit, patience, and love for our boys. Not to mention all the laughs he gives us and really everyone when he is with his duck,” she wrote on Instagram.
The two fell in love immediately.
Olee “is the funniest little creature and we are so grateful to witness his friendship with Biss. He really believes he’s a dog, he’s sweet and sassy, and loves being part of the family,” she said. more.
The two can often be found in a kiddie pool, chasing each other, and even playing catch!
It all turned out to be something worthy of a children’s book – which is why Vallier decided to write one himself!
The couple’s first book, “Playing on the farm,” will be released soon.
