Many dogs have a protective instinct for people, especially children. So when a stray Pit Bull sees a child lounging around alone, wearing only his pajamas, the dog knows he can’t leave the child alone. The stray dog followed the boy everywhere and immediately formed a special bond with him.
Pit Bull did not leave the boy even with help. He is there to support the child until the boy is placed back in his father’s arms. That is true dedication!
Neighbors Spotted Toddler and Dog
The toddler, known as Kh’amorion Taylor, was wandering around the St. Louis with a stray Pit Bull was discovered by someone. A woman who lived nearby was walking her two small dogs, and she thought it strange that the boy and the dog were walking without an adult.
“He looks well cared for, he is very neat, very clean; he doesn’t wear shoes,” said the neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous.

So the neighbor stayed with the boy and the dog as she searched for the boy’s parents. She posted pictures of him on social media and went door-to-door asking if anyone recognized him. Unfortunately, no one knows who the boy is. The neighbor said she spent hours looking for the boy’s family with no luck.
The neighbor eventually handed the boy over to the police. During that time, the Pit Bull was with the boy, although the boy was safe. This brave dog proves that “aggressive” breeds are much more kind and nurturing than the harsh stereotypes people believe.
The dog refuses to leave the boy
Kh’amorion’s father saw a neighbor’s post about the boy on social media and rushed to pick up his son. The dog was still with the boy when the father arrived, but the dog did not belong to the family. The father did not share how the boy escaped in the first place.
“It takes a whole village and especially innocent children. The important thing is that we stick together, we help each other. That we build solidarity,” the neighbor said.
After returning home, Kh’amorion kept saying “puppy”. He still hadn’t forgotten the furry friend who had kept him safe. His family was unable to adopt the stray dog, but police were impressed with the dog’s protective instincts. Police officers of St. Louis is thinking of adopting the brave dog.
