Sandy’s subsequent appearance was a 95th birthday present from Andrew and princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

When asked by a sender how everything was, Andrew said: “We’ve been given a date, now we start the process of delivering her.”
Meanwhile, Sarah said the Queen was “the most incredible mother-in-law and friend” to her, and she will miss her “more than words can express”.
Susan the original corgi
Most of the Queen’s corgis are descendants of her first corgi, Susan, who was given to her on her 18th birthday.
The Queen takes care of her own dogs as much as she can, and during weekends in Windsor, the corgis also go and live in her own apartment.
She feeds them whenever her busy schedule allows and also enjoys walking the dog.
The monarch has many, Princess Diana once described them as a “moving rug”.
