At the Chicago Auto Show, Ram released the first image of the production version of its upcoming all-electric pickup truck, dubbed the Ram 1500 REV.
Currently, the very limited preview comes in the form of two photos showing the badge and front face styling. Ram said more details will be announced on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12.
In the teaser photos, the production Ram 1500 REV appears to have an identical front-end appearance, with a special lighting system that runs in two paths from the grille to the sides. The front end looks equally rounded, in the name of aerodynamics, with a bulging hood that extends some of the design continuity to the internal combustion versions that will still be available.

Ram previously confirmed that a Ram electric truck extended range will be sold alongside the all-electric truck and updated petrol versions of the Ram. Specifications and more information about this range-extending version have yet to be revealed, but executives have hinted that it could be the key to the model’s “top real-world range.” This image is coming soon.
Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares emphasized last month to Green Car Reports that this will be an extended range EV rather than a plug-in hybrid.
