Why is this deal recommended by ZDNET?

Remember digital photo frames? They were all the rage in the late 1990s/early 2000s – when parents and grandparents all had to own one. But eventually, their popularity seemed to decline. I’m here to say we should redo digital photo frames.

I got my hands on the Nixplay Touch 10 Smart Frame and I was impressed. As a Millennial, I take hundreds of photos on my phone but rarely print them out to display in my home. Although digital photo frames are often associated with the elderly, I think everyone should give them — or at least Nixplay Touch 10 Smart Frame — an effort.

First impressions

The Nixplay Touch 10 Smart Frame comes in black, classic matte, and wood. It has 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon and over 22,000 ratings – so digital photo frames aren’t completely obsolete.

Setting up the frame was surprisingly easy. First, I downloaded the Nixplay app, connected the frame to my home’s Wi-Fi, then paired the frame with the app. I used the free standard plan with Framework, which includes unlimited cloud storage, 5GB of video, and a basic photo editing suite.

You control your photo “playlist” in the app. This is where you can add, rearrange, or delete photos and videos. The app connects to media files on your phone, or you can upload them using cloud services like Google Photos or Dropbox.

You can also invite friends or family to add photos to your playlist, and they don’t need to own a Nixplay frame. I haven’t invited my friends to add photos yet, but I will — because I’m sure they have some precious things (including embarrassing photos of me).

On the frame, the convenient touch screen allows you to control brightness, auto-off timer, show time, display mode, active sensor timer (will turn off the frame after a period of time). certain without anyone walking in front of the frame). frame) and notification.

Forgotten digital memories

Seeing photos that had been stuck on my phone for years in my living room was a wonderful feeling. I got married last October and only printed out six of the 2,000 wedding photos on the day, so seeing our entire wedding album come to life in one frame was incredibly special for me. I. (I just sat in front of the frame for 20 minutes, reliving that day.)

I also made a list of our travels over the past few years, which is fun to see. Walking past the frame and looking back at the memories is becoming my most anticipated moment of the day. The Nixplay’s 1280 x 800 niX-Specter HD IPS display is bright, and all of my photos (even those taken on an iPhone in 2019) came out vibrant without any annoying pixelation.

Makes a perfect gift

After having the Nixplay Touch 10 Smart Frame in my house, I’m a fan of digital photo frames. And with Father’s Day right around the corner, this would be the perfect gift for the mom in your life.

Millennials may not print as many photos as we’d like, but Nixplay digital photo frames can let us relive hundreds of memories in a single frame. The frame usually costs $200, but at Amazon it sells for $120so now is the time to try digital photo frames yourself or gift it to someone else.
