The loving Pittie dog turned into a hostile dog has 11 reasons why the adoptive mother has to fight
When a Pit Bull named Mars was rescued by Pup Culture Rescue, she was an adorable dog. She let the rescuers pet her without hesitation. Mars comes to the rescue of a group of people who are underweight and very pregnant. Soon after, Mars gave birth to a large litter. Eleven puppies in all! She was then placed in a foster home with Victoria. Pit Bull’s cute, sweet demeanor has completely changed. She growled at Victoria constantly. Victoria is not allowed near her or her babies. It shocked the adoptive mother. She couldn’t understand why Mars had changed so rapidly.
Mars would stare at Victoria intensely and growl as soon as she approached Pittie. The dog’s growl really scared Victoria, a seasoned rescuer and nurturer. She didn’t know what to do. Victoria needs to take care of her mother and babies, but Mars has other plans. The now-scary Pit Bull will stick her head out the door of the room she shares with her puppies and give Victoria a piece of her mind. This had to change.
Thankfully, with time and patience, Victoria once again won her trust. Mars’ maternal instinct is to protect her puppies. Once she understood that no one would harm them, she let her guard down. Before long, all the puppies had found permanent homes. While this is a blessing, Mars has had a hard time seeing his kids go. But she eventually learned to cope…with some help from an unexpected source. Mars’ story is too good to miss! Thank you to The Dodo for sharing it with us. Scroll down and check it out.
