January 14, 2022 is here and brought for the first time Blue Archive update of the year. As usual, this means many New content. In this case, it adds a Revolutionary Ivan Kupala Blue Archive events, a new raid, and Cherino Renkawa and Nodoka Amami. 1,200 Pyroxenes are also being played out to all players.
Both Cherino and Nodaka and Blue Archive events related to the Red Winter Federation Academy. In the plot, Cherino is trying to regain her role as the head of the academy. She’s a shotgun-wielding striker-type character. Her attacks can also penetrate. Meanwhile, Nodoka is a special character. She wields an extra machine gun and increases her allies’ accuracy. Depending on which character is on your team, you earn different event coins.
The raid is Total Assault – Chesed. As usual, Pyroxenes will be among the rewards for participating. (This is the currency you can use to get the characters in the gacha.) It will only be available until January 17, 2022.
There are also two trailers along with Blue Archive update. First, there is a video of the One Ivan Kupala Revolution event. It tends to focus on Cherino. However, it also shows Nodoka briefly.
There’s also a soundtrack to the event and new characters. It’s worth more than an hour of music. It all fits the theme of the Red Winter Federation Academy in the game.
