2024 Ni Hsin EV Tech launches VMoto TC Max and CPx Pro EV in Malaysia for RM19,900 and RM25,900
Entering the Malaysian electric vehicle market are the Ni Hsin EV Tech TC Max electric motorbike and the CPx Pro electric motorbike. The TC Max retails in Malaysia at RM19,900 while the CPx Pro retails at RM25,900.
Manufactured by Nanjing VMoto Manufacturing Company in China, VMoto electric motorcycles and scooters are assembled in Malaysia by NH EV Tech in Malaysia under license. A comprehensive sales and marketing network of distributors and dealers throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia has been established to serve TC Max and CPx Pro owners.
TC Max has an electrical capacity equivalent to 6.7 horsepower, equivalent to the performance level of a 125 cc motorcycle, with a maximum torque of 160 Nm measured at the engine. The 5 kW electric motor is placed in the middle and drives the rear wheels via a belt.
The large removable lithium polymer battery is rated at 60v 45Ah with a weight of 22kg. According to the spec sheet, the TC Max takes three to four hours to charge using domestic current, giving it a range of 95 km and a governed top speed of 95 km/h.
The weight of the TC Max is listed at 79kg without battery, with a total weight of 101kg when charged and ready to ride while the seat height is set at 770mm. The braking system combines the operation of front brakes and hydraulic disc brakes, and the suspension uses inverted front forks and a monoshock with adjustable preload.
Meanwhile, CPx Pro has a range of 220 km thanks to the dual battery pack located under the seat. The battery powers an electric motor that produces a power equivalent to 10.72 horsepower and 258 Nm of torque while the maximum speed is limited to 105 km/h.
Speed is limited to 90 km/h, with the CPx Pro weighing 125 kg including battery. NH EV Tech offers retail, rent-to-own and leasing programs covering the B2B, B2G and B2C market segments, along with the ability to customize the TC Max and CPx Pro with accessories such as panniers and horns. Alarm and radio systems for police, military and security enforcement unit missions.
