A driver has a lucky escape after his car plunged into a river in Norway when a wooden bridge collapsed.
The falling bridge also left a truck stranded almost vertically on a collapsed section.
Police say a helicopter assisted in the rescue operation in Gudbrandsdalen and pulled the truck driver out.
The driver of the car got out of the car by himself.
Pictures from the scene show the wooden bridge broken into pieces, with large sections lying underwater.
Police said both drivers did well after their ordeal.
