The “crazy” dog no one wants to find family can’t get enough of it
Life on the street can be tough for a dog, but life in a shelter can be, too. Many dogs do not live in cement cages, get little socialization or exercise. When dogs do not adapt well to life in a shelter, finding a home is even more difficult for them as they may exhibit poor behaviors.
Such was the case with a stray bully named Tuggy. The poor dog was caught by the police and had so much energy that he couldn’t keep himself in the kennel.
When Tuggy was found, he had red and prolapsed glands in both eyes. His eyes, plus his inability to sit still, make everyone think he’s crazy. No one wants to adopt him and he desperately needs to get out of the crib.
While it may have been the end of the road for Tuggy, as many breeds of bulls that aren’t adopted will eventually die out, Tuggy was given a second chance when a woman named Melissa hesitantly agreed to raise him. ta.
Talk to DodoMelissa explains that a friend begged her to babysit Tuggy, even if it was just for a weekend. She finally agreed and went to meet the “crazy” dog that no one wanted.
Melissa’s first impression of Tuggy was that he was “ridiculous”, as he turned around with his chubby face and fiery red eyes. He has a lot of energy to get out but also likes to lie down and pause.
Tuggy quickly established herself as at home in Melissa’s house and even got along well with other dogs and her husband. It wasn’t long before Melissa realized that she wouldn’t be able to let him go. No one else might want him, but he is the perfect dog for her and her family.
He even became a therapy dog and now helps Melissa and her husband bring their pets into their home!
