The Kia Picanto and MG ZS don’t stay on dealer lots for long, while the Nissan Leaf and Renault Arkana tend to linger.
That’s according to data compiled by used car market data firm AutoGrab for the Australian Automotive Dealer Association’s January 2024 Automotive Insights Report.
AutoGrab looks at the duration between when a vehicle was first listed online to when it was delisted, and provides an average for each model.
According to the data, the Kia Picanto takes an average of 25.1 days to sell, while the Nissan Leaf takes an average of 178.9 days.
Familiar discontinued nameplates like the Mitsubishi Lancer and Suzuki Grand Vitara are also, on average, sold quickly.
This data includes only dealer sales of vehicles up to 10 years old. A minimum of 20 examples of a model must have been sold during the month for it to feature.

The Nissan Leaf tops the chart of slowest sellers, taking an average of 178.9 days to sell.
One unusual inclusion is the Honda Fit, a grey import version of the Jazz previously sold here. It sits in second place, taking an average of 170.1 days to sell.
Only two other vehicles take on average more than 100 days to sell: the Renault Arkana and the Range Rover.
