Xander Mellor, 6, from Springfield, Illinois, has been saving for the past 18 months to buy a puppy. When Natalie Ellenburg got home from work, he would politely ask her for the change she brought and deposit it in his savings jar.

Xander stopped buying sweets and treats because he wanted a puppy of his own. When his grandparents hear about his quest to seduce, they decide to visit him to make his wishes come true!

In this video, Xander happily runs out of the house as soon as he sees his grandparents’ car. Grandma asks him to close his eyes and spread his arms to receive the “gift” as he approaches the car door.
The boy ‘smiling all the way’ as he waits for his grandmother’s gift, but his eyes widen in absolute amazement when he sees a cute puppy placed in his arms!
