The U.S. EPA has released range and performance numbers for the 2022 F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck — offering more range and therefore better efficiency, than Ford already has. Initial hints for the much-anticipated truck.
With the optional 131 kwh extended battery pack, the Lightning will have a range of 320 miles in the XLT, Laries, and fleet-only Pro versions. That’s better than “up to 300 miles” Ford discussed when it announces Lightning in 2021. That range is estimated to drop to 230 miles with the standard 98 kWh battery pack.
