Some of us here on the WIRED Gear team have spent several months testing a range of couches that you can order online—without leaving the house. These are our favorites.
Much as bed mattress in box, ordering a couch online is simpler than you think. You just choose what you want, place your order and voilà: Several boxes will arrive on your front porch. Assemble the parts and you’re ready to go. But it’s important to do your research first. Many couch manufacturers offer fabric samples that you should take advantage of to ensure that the color and feel are exactly how you want them to be. Be sure to measure the area where you place the couch, as well as the door frames and stairs for apartments with walkways.
