In case you haven’t noticed, Target has a truly spectacular beauty department. In fact, these days, a stroll through the glittering aisles of a retailer (whether literally, IRL, or figuratively online) is just as enjoyable as a trip to Sephora, Purple gray, or any of our other favorite beauty stores. The selection of brands and products has grown exponentially, and while you’ll still find staples like Maybelline, Elf Cosmetics, CoverGirl, etc., there are also many lesser known brands waiting to be discovered and vying for your attention. So I was presented with the final challenge: Pick my top 10 beauty brands at Target, and from there, pick two products of my choice from each. This whole process – and because I am sometimes too thorough for my own good – takes about five hours.
Obviously, there are about 30 brands found by Target that I’d love to include here (I’m still swallowing a bit of guilt), but if highlighted, the 10 highlighted below are the most popular. brand that I can actually use and recommend for the rest of time and is less widely known than the pharmacy names we are all too familiar with. (Don’t get me wrong — I still love those classic brands, but I just want to shine on some other worthy brands.)
