Tesla to launch new models in first half of 2025, robotaxi debut on October 10; Gigafactory Mexico postponed
On its Q2 2024 earnings call, Tesla stated that “new cars, including more affordable models” remains on track to begin production in the first half of 2025.
These cars will use “aspects of the next-generation platform” alongside aspects of the existing platform, and these new models will be able to be built on the same production lines as Tesla’s current lineup, the company said.
